Gerard Elias QC – Tony Paris’ lead barrister. Then Leader of the Wales and Chester Circuit

Satish Sekar’s book on the investigation into the horrifying death of Lynette White and the trial of five men for her murder is a work of painstaking analysis and careful attention to detail. He leaves few stones unturned in his quest to identify the real killer or killers and spares no-one in the questions which he poses in relation to the original enquiry and the trial.

Not all of his conclusions, theoretical analysis or criticism of individuals will find favour with everyone, but few who read this book will leave it without pondering on the many issues it raises.

Sekar is to be congratulated upon producing a book which so thoroughly rehearses the facts of a most puzzling case and which takes the reader in detail through the high and low points of the cases against the five men who originally stood trial.
