Rajiv gained great experience over almost three decades in three continents, which he put to use providing services to clients. He got engaged in community projects from 2006 and through via his responsibilities after becoming a local councillor in 2007.
He trained to become an accredited mediator and also engaged to address violent crimes in Greater London area. Besides engaging in as a Facilitator, Rajiv has worked in policy-making via responsibilities as a Board member of CAB, Maidenhead and Board member on Community Partnership in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. He has raised many a voices on social and community related issues.
Rajiv focuses on the following services:

Mediation – helping conflicting parties in dispute to reach an agreement they are content with and avoid having to go to a tribunal or court hearing. The scope of Mediation ranges from Community, Commercial, Workplace, and Family disputes.

Restorative Justice – Facilitated with Thames Valley Restorative Justice service until July-13 for over 5 years. This initiative helped the Victims and offenders see eye-to-eye.

Facilitation – for meetings, especially where parties have difficulty reaching an agreement, for example, over a policy issue, cultural / diversity aspects. Several parties / agencies could be involved.

Sustainable Living: Being a member of the Sustainability Initiative of Transition Town Network, he plays an active role in promoting Sustainable Living initiatives such as Renewable Energy, Sustainable farming, etc. Rajiv is named as the main contact for Transition Maidenhead. Work involves liaising with individuals, groups and Public / Government bodies besides active promotion, chairing and project management.
Rajiv has developed his expertise through his work with Thames Valley & Greater London based mediation services; Restorative Justice Facilitator in Thames Valley; Trained & associate of CCM, London in addressing violent crime mediation; His training as an accredited Mediator with SPC, Regents College, London; As a senior manager in Global fortune 500 companies in front-end negotiations, Marketing and Program management; Having worked in 3 continents in competitive corporate environment; Trained in Equality and Diversity by the DWP.
He also engages in many voluntary organisations including YOT, Open Kitchen and other renowned UK-based bodies, including the Transition Network. Rajiv is a founder member of One World Party.( a charity) and engages in its program delivery and fund raising. His experience in commercial work took him to over 20 countries. Rajiv was an elected member of Royal borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. (2007-2011). Having worked with people of different nationalities, the can facilitate a strong cross-cultural orientation, which has also helped him to be sensitive to different belief & value systems.
Some of his current assignments/engagement are: Mediator with Mediation Buckinghamshire; Associate with Capital Conflict Management CIC, London; Panel Mediator with EDSL; Mentor with the charity ‘A Band of Brothers’ focussed on issues men face; Founder member of the Sulah Cooperative Ltd.; Director of Maidenergy Cooperative Limited.
Rajiv has an honours degree in Chemistry (1985, Delhi University) and an MBA (1987) from India.
