There are more options now than before \u2013 Innocence Projects for example, but what if the victim doesn\u2019t meet the criteria? What if there is no DNA, or even no easy means to get access to it to test? Where does that leave the victim?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; One obvious option is media, but journalists have problems too. How do they fund their investigations? What strands are left open to them? I ignored thee problems. I took as long as I needed. I spent what I had and I succeeded but this won\u2019t happen again. No mainstream media will allow such time or commit (whatever it takes) resources to such investigations. None will fund whatever has to be done and that inevitably leaves gaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Journalists can help, but they should be part of the solution, not the last or only option.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting Injustice 1 Time: Nov 19, 2020 16:30-18.30 PM London Moderator: Satish Sekar David M.
